The device works completely offline without requiring internet connectivity, making it perfect for remote field locations, buying stations, and delivery points. Dual rechargeable batteries provide all-day operation for continuous testing. Results appear immediately on the integrated touchscreen and can be saved to internal memory or transferred via USB or wireless connection when back at the office.

X-NIR comes with 5 standard ingredient calibrations included and offers access to 60+ total ingredient calibrations covering grains (corn, wheat, barley, soybeans), forages (silages, hay, TMR), and specialty crops. This flexibility enables grain traders to verify deliveries, nutritionists to analyze forage during farm visits, palm oil buyers to test fruit quality at remote stations, and coffee traders to verify moisture specifications during export loading.
